Beauty and the Swine

Pencil Line sketch #149:

Good morning! Time for a weekend Blog Hop with Willow Traders.

Using mostly, Pink Paislee products,.... the pictures, in this layout, were taken at The Pennsylvania Rennaissance Faire. We LOVE to go there every Fall! The boys especially love to watch The Joust competition and all of the fun foods.
Being a fair, it should have rides, right!?! Well, it does, just right for the sixteenth century....run by sheer manpower. This "amusement" involves a large wooden swine that the boys sat in, powered by a man giving the large boar some strong pushes, with a few twists and turns. The boys love it!! Last year, the boys were in Halloween costume, and they Trick or Treated in the shire!

The second layout uses a Page Map sketch. Usually, my sketch interpretations tend to be very literal; but, this one is not. I took this sketch:

and rotated it once clockwise and used four pictures. I preferred them split, ...on the top, I am in my twenties, and the bottom,...my thirties. This made the sketch take on a different look.

I used the following:

SR Charlotte Martha Road Zig Zag and Shirley Floral, FP DELIGHT - Strips, and Prima Dude Playful (backside) papers. The journal pieces are: FP Delight Journaling Notebook Page, MR Sheer (I think) and a MM Delaney Spiral Journaling Page. Other products used are PP & other rub-on from stash, CM Pens, Gelly Roll White pen, Chatterbox Chipboard tag and dimensional sticker
Various alphabets, including CM and Cbx, a journal box and, dew drops from my stash.

I penned in the bottom part of the spyrograph from the FP DELIGHT - Strip used, and punched the flowers from the SR Charlotte Shirley Floral patterned paper to have the centers with print: The sub-title reads, "Joy, peace & contentment"

I included two hidden journaling spots. One includes, bible reference verses that I consider God's promises and the other says, "what I learned: God gives you the desires of your heart when you seek them through Him." There is so much to say on this topic, for me. But, it will be revealed in a progression of layouts that will tell my story. I am the survivor of a life threatening accident and clearly here living an abundant life through God's grace.

Thanks for spending some time with me! Many abundant blessings for you!
