S is for Silly

Jason has always had a great sense of humor. And, with his fabulous dimples, it has been an extra bonus! I had been able to get many a genuine full dimpled smile from him when he was younger. This layout was created for this week's challenge at Sketches! {by tamara} - a Journaling Challenge. Make a Layout and use this for your Journaling: Journal about an interesting characteristic or trait of someone you love.

The patterned papers are October Afternoon, mostly from the Farm Fresh line. I made the award ribbon by cutting little cone shapes from a dotted, (older OA line), paper and rolling the thinner end of the cone on the handle of my paper piercer, and layering them in a circle. The center is an American crafts epoxy button.

I did a bit of paper manipulation in a couple of my February Scraptiv!ty projects, with the Thanksgiving layout paper rolls, and the wall hanging. I experimented with wetting the paper, and it worked very well. I hope to share a little more about this over this upcoming weekend. Please check back if that interests you.

Have a marvelous week! Tomorrow, my dear seven year old is going to be put under anesthesia to remove eraser from his ear,....and I thought he was my careful one!! I'm still not sure he is giving me the full story about how this happened at school. But, the doctor says this type of thing is pretty common with children and their ears.

Be blessed!

  1. I love your ribbon - so cute!
I hope your son does alright with eraser in his ear...at least it wasn't his nose.

Thanks for leaving a comment about my Graphic 45 book (on their site).
