Happy Place, 2007

As I still had some remaining scraps left to the Simple Stories Snow Patrol collection that I had, I reviewed the Stuck?! Sketches challenge that Laura Whitaker put out:

I used partial circles scraps, in the above layout, from a layout that I created previously, (backside of the blue circles):

The red dotted paper, (on the initially featured layout for this post), looked so Disney to me that I pulled some older photographs that sat in a poor quality photograph pile from a trip in 2007.  Oops, I need to correct my journaling date! Anywho, I wanted to use some dark papers underneath the photographs so that the darkness to the photographs would not stand out too much.  After exhausting the remaining Simple Stories stickers, I pulled a few Fancy Pants Happy Place Ephemera pieces to complete the page. Although I layered a little more than Laura's sketch, threw in the circles and reversed the header, I stayed close to the sketch otherwise.

Have a great day and stay warm!!
