Hi there!
I present Funshine:
for
I present Funshine:
The paper reverse sides add more (yellow) color:
I didn't want to go warm with the colors because the original is not warm in color at all:
I started by using
| Echo Park Capture Life |
and
| Bella Blvd Lovey Dovey |

A bit brighter but I like it. Teal and pink together though are so out of my paradigm. Ordinarily, I would put teal with orange, and pink with green. I, usually, warm up my cold colors, not put them together.
Then, I found that my Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm papers tie in with the teals and pinks.
However, the off-white background will present a challenge.
My favorite multicolor that tied in with all the colors was from Elle's Studio Shine:
I added my additional papers on hand from the aforementioned kits and added another soft muted teal paper from some very old paper from a company called Scrap Mode. I couldn't find any images for you. It is the paper under the snowflakes in the Funshine picture.
I tend to go a little crazy with the add-ons. My cardstock add-on didn't photograph well. It would be very close to the original with the exception of the white vellum. I replaced it with a gray vellum since I cannot find white vellum, (which I know I have to have here already).
Bella Blvd Lovey Dovey Scraps Add-on (LOL), the papers are really scraps:
Embellishment Add-on:
Washi Tape, "FUN"shine clip, vellum tag frame,
Stitch kit, transparent clips. (off course they need
brads-so bright brads to go with my bright kit).
Color Add-on:
Colorless Word Die Cuts, Artisan Letters
Light teal paint dabber, Teal and tan alcohol inks with blender
pen, spray bottle for inks, blending and mica powders
Stamps and matching die, Scrap Mode paper
I threw in ingredients for my color kit that have sat 5 years untouched. They are the only alcohol inks and dabbers that I own and the colors go with my papers as well as any match I could ever find for them. If I don't use them this month, I will include them with February's donation to my son's art teacher, (along with any paper and kit scraps).
All of the above was prepared for the January Counterfeit Challenge. I hope that you play along!
Have a great day!!
