Grandpop's Dingy


I am excited about all my ideas to use with my January Counterfeit Kit, (Funshine).  It can easily be used for graphic pages, clean pages, layered pages and so "fun" to play with!

I loved the grays in these papers with the grays in the rocks and dingy in these photographs.  The yellow patterned paper was great to compliment to the life vests.  However, I used some deeper gold yellow thread to create my own stitched paper and add a deeper tone to the paper:
I added the triangular paper at the top from a Studio Calico sheet, the letters and gold cardstock.  All other items were part of my kit.

    Now that is a lot of stitching. It accents the page so nicely.

      I considered hand stitching because I pulled the tools to do so for my Funshine kit but I went with the machine for this one. I will work in the hand stitching somewhere though. I love adding little touches that way. Thank you!!
