How to Get a Song Unstuck from your Head

I really don't know how to best get a song unstuck, but you might need it after looking at my layout. I call the phenomena "Jingle Brain Infiltration"  LOL    At the end is a link for help.  But, please, check out my layout first.

I worked with a sketch from ScrapMuch?

I used my January Counterfeit Kits to create the layout and only added the light yellow, (french vanilla), cardstock and fuzzy letters. I have a love/hate relationship with the alphabets.  Their adhesive did not stick so I glued each letter in place.  With all the fuzzy parts, I did not want to use the sticker maker because I was afraid of the extra adhesive cleanup.  As soon as I was done with the letters, I threw the remaining letters away.  I sat back, looked at those warm, fuzzy letters and picked the sheets back out of the trash can.  :)

The rub-ons were great to adhere and laid nicely.  I wish that I kept the original packaging because I no longer remember who the manufacturer was.  They stuck well to the acetate clip, the brad, the paper and the photographs.  The last detail that I can think of that may be of note is how I used the "FUN" clip.  I made a small slit in the photograph with an exacto knife, and slid the clip between the slit and underneath the photograph.

In the off chance the title of my layout didn't ring a bell with you, it was from the movie, Frozen.  Now here's the link to How to Get a Song Out of Your Head.

Have a great day! And may it be "Jingle Brain" free!!

    1. Thank you, Cindy! I can see how they look like stamps but the snowflakes are actually some very awesome rubons.

  8. Thank you, Julia! I was getting excited as I saw them coming together, and I thought the pinks on top brought it all in. It makes me want to add more toppers to my pages! I love how sketches can add to creativity -- I guess at least for me -- the structure gives balance to working with the colors and elements. :) Thanks again!

  10. That is a really nice double-spread - very eye-catching, and since I have not seen Frozen, it wasn't ear-catching for me. Janine, I know your frustration on letters that don't have their sticky-stuff left. But I don't throw them away either - on the other hand, rub-ons that don't apply smoothly are immediately tossed in the trash can. I just dumped a bunch of old ones, in fact. It's funny what we are willing to put up with and what we are not, isn't it?

    1. Yes, and I would dare to say that not all letters would be created equal. However, most Thickers would be hard to toss. Thank you for the compliments, Susanne!

    1. Thank you Tiiu!! I loved the script paper and sad that I only had the one sheet that got used entirely on this layout (6x12 each page). :) The thickers were worth the extra effort to adhere them too - I'd buy them all over again. Thanks, love the sketch from ScrapMuch?
